This paper analyzes the impact of social media on the mental health of students at Kon Tum College within the context of digital transformation and the unique cultural characteristics of the Central Highlands. Based on an empirical survey of 340 students (82% of whom are from ethnic minority groups), the study elucidates the 'double-edged' nature of social media. On this basis, the author proposes a multi-layered support system. The article further affirms that equipping students with 'digital literacy' and 'cultural resilience' is the pivotal key to mastering technology, ensuring mental well-being, and fostering holistic development.
