Abstract

The research focuses on analyzing the role of nature in Luong Minh Cu’s poetry, especially through the book Nu Tam Xuan. Nature appears not only as a context but also as a lyrical space, a place of nostalgia for the homeland, humanity and memories of war. With a rustic and quiet poetic voice, the poet has portrayed close nature, ordinary life but rich in poetry and philosophy of life. Images such as the river, potato rice, Truong Son forest are all closely connected with people, suggesting the depth of mood. The nature in his poetry is not separate from life but becomes a part of the national soul. Thereby, the article affirms Luong Minh Cu’s own style: simple, kind and profound.
