Abstract

University serves as a cornerstone across three strategic phases of innovation-driven entrepreneurship: ideation, product development, and scaling. Over the past years, the university has been instrumental in supplying high-quality intellectual and technological human resources to society, while providing a prolific source of creative concepts for startup ventures. These efforts have directly enhanced production, business, and service activities, fostering socio-economic efficiency and the developmental capacity of enterprises. Furthermore, the institution has proactively established an innovation startup ecosystem model, integrated into a province-wide network in coordination with Vinh Long’s provincial ecosystem. This article evaluates the progress made in ecosystem development and proposes strategic solutions to bolster entrepreneurial activities among students, thereby advancing the socio-economic growth of the Mekong Delta.
