Abstract
This paper focuses on analyzing the current development status and proposing strategic directions to enhance the effectiveness of Vietnam's dry port system during the period 2021–2030, with a vision toward 2050. By compiling statistical data and evaluating socio-economic indicators and logistics performance, the study emphasizes the vital role of dry ports in facilitating container transport, reducing congestion at seaports, and contributing to the optimization of national supply chains. Dry ports are positioned as intermediate hubs that connect different modes of transport and form an integral part of a modern logistics network. Based on the national master plan for dry port development approved by the Government, the paper proposes several strategic solutions to improve operational efficiency.
