Abstract

Throughout the heroic years of the national defense resistance wars, Vietnamese revolutionary literature forged a unique artistic current where writings intertwined with the smoke and fire of the battlefield. Within this epic flow, Vietnamese literature has seen a generation of poets and writers who not only fought on the battlefield but also composed poetry and prose during wartime. This extraordinary creative force not only chronicled historical moments with blood and tears but also profoundly conveyed the ideals of national liberation. When peace was restored, the shift in the social landscape brought new materials, yet the resonance of the fiery past continued to remain deeply rooted in the artists' consciousness. Upon returning to civilian life, they remained active in literary creation. Alongside the hustle and bustle of postwar life, wartime memories and the spirit of camaraderie continued to be the dominant themes and sources of inspiration in their work. The combination of a soldier's steely resolve and a writer's profound sensitivity forged a highly distinctive literary identity. As a result, they created many valuable artistic works that have captivated generations of readers and left a lasting mark. This article delves into analyzing, decoding, and positioning the artistic contributions of this military-clad writing force through a specific figure. Among the prominent poets of that era, one cannot fail to mention Lương Minh Cừ. By studying the poetics and imagery system in his creations, the research contributes to affirming the literary-historical position of a generation of authors who completely dedicated their youth to both the Fatherland and the nation's literature.
